Have you always wanted to get behind a camera,
or would like to take your filmmaking skills to the next

The Revera & Reel Youth Age is More Film Program is a
unique filmmaking workshop that will bring together
youth and older Canadians in a creative collaboration
to produce short films. In this FREE program, you will work
with a small group to create films that explore the
fascinating and un-told stories of 10 seniors from your

In this program you will:

• Learn how to plan, shoot, and edit a short film
• Work creatively with a small group of peers
• Help tell the stories of elders in your community
• Have a ridiculous amount of fun!

Ten young people (13-29 yrs old) will be chosen to participate in this project.  We are looking for youth who are excited about filmmaking and interested in exploring film as a tool for social change.  The program is free and we welcome any level of experience!  A public screening of the Reel Youth Film Festival will feature your films, which will also be submitted to the Reel Youth Film Festival, and distributed on AgeIsMore.com, YouTube and the Reel Youth website                              

This is a 6-day program. The dates are:                                      

Apr 23-24 ~  4pm – 8pm
Apr 25-26 ~ 10am – 4pm
May 2-3 ~ 10am – 4pm
