The Reel Youth Film Festival is premiering online!

From October 29 to November 12, we are excited to present this year's festival collection - fresh off the screen at the Vancouver International Film Festival and ready for your viewing pleasure. So sign up below, mark your calendars, and make some popcorn! We will email you the link.

The Reel Youth Film Festival is a collection of short films made by emerging youth filmmakers from around the world. Chosen by an international selection panel from 400 submissions and 30 countries, this collection will show you the world through the eyes of an incredibly gifted group of young media-makers. This year we are featuring 25% BC films, 50% Canadian films, and Indigenous stories from across Turtle Island.

In our work we strive to embody what we hope to see in the world—a just humanity and community in which people are free to be themselves fully and without fear. A community where no one is exiled or silenced because of gender, gender expression, race, color, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual/affectional orientation, age, class, physical character or disability. We believe in the power of storytelling to make connections across difference.
