SURREY SAFE SCHOOLS FILMS
In the spring of 2013, Reel Youth worked with students at W.E. Kinvig Elementary School to make films about how to put an end to bullying. They had great ideas, including the themes of these films: being an ally, learning to be kinder with our words, standing up for oneself, and treating others how you'd like to be treated. The films were premiered at an all-school assembly to 400 students!
The films are part of the Surrey Safe Schools program, which provides safe and caring environments in which all learners can achieve academic excellence, personal growth and responsible citizenship.
