CANADIAN RED CROSS & REEL YOUTH FILM MAKING PROGRAM

Have you always wanted to get behind a camera,                    Have you witnessed or
or to take your filmmaking skills to the next level?                         been affected by bullying?

Then this program is for you.


In April, 2014, the Canadian Red Cross will be offering Victoria youth the chance to produce their own bullying prevention video! The program is a unique filmmaking workshop with skilled Reel Youth facilitators, who will bring together Victoria youth in a creative collaboration to produce short films.  Participants will:

             • Learn how to plan, shoot, and edit a short film  
             • Work creatively with a small group of peers
             • Help create a powerful film that addresses bullying
             • Have a ridiculous amount of fun!

15 youth aged 13-24 will be chosen to participate in this FREE program.
No experience necessary!

Application deadline: April 2, 2014                         
Location: 909 Fairfield Rd - Victoria, BC                       

Dates:  This is a 3-day program. The dates are:

             Fri    April 4:  4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
             Sat  April 5:  10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
             Sun April 6:  10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
