

The Champions for Children and Youth 2011 B.C. Summit was a unique two-day event that focused on hearing the voices of immigrant and refugee youth who partnered with politicians and business leaders from across B.C. to share their very important views. Fresh Voices from Long Journeys: Insights of Immigrant and Refugee Youth was held in Vancouver on October 13 & 14, where Reel Youth produced this film to reflect the voices expressed.
The Champions for Children and Youth 2010 B.C. Summit was held October 2010 in Vancouver. It brought together a wide range of national and international experts, front-line workers, and - most importantly-children and youth themselves. The Summit's impressive speakers, knowledgeable panellists and committed delegates came together to shape a future that protects and improves the well-being of children.
The following films were made with young people from around British Columbia as they reacted to the Growing Up in BC Report and provided inisight and advice for decision makers.
