The FRESH CONNECTIONS 4 Film Program was an innovative online workshop that brought together people from across British Columbia to create impactful short video poems. This program focused on exploring participants' personal connections to significant places within the context of Indigenous land histories, rights, and the journey toward reconciliation.

Through guided sessions, participants engaged in creative storytelling, using film as a medium to express their unique perspectives and experiences. The resulting films showcase a rich tapestry of voices and insights, highlighting the importance of place and the deep connections we share with the land.

Join us in celebrating the powerful stories that emerged from this program, as we honor the ongoing dialogue around Indigenous rights and reconciliation in our communities. Explore the inspiring films and discover the diverse narratives that connect us all!

In our work we strive to embody what we hope to see in the world—a just humanity and community in which people are free to be themselves fully and without fear. A community where no one is exiled or silenced because of gender, gender expression, race, color, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual/affectional orientation, age, class, physical character or disability. We believe in the power of storytelling to make connections across difference.
