WHAT IS THE I AM PRINCE GEORGE ONLINE FILM PROGRAM?

We may be in self-isolation, but we are in this together. The COVID-19 pandemic is distancing us, so Reel Youth and the Connaught Youth Centre are presenting a fun and creative way to connect with each other, and make films in response to this important time in history.

Community will not be cancelled!

THE I AM PRINCE GEORGE ONLINE FILM PROGRAM is a free online program enabling young people to connect with each other and create strong films. Reel Youth facilitators will lead guided creative writing and filmmaking activities that will capture personal stories and experiences while living through the Covid-19 pandemic. No previous experience is necessary!

Participants aged 15 and under from Prince George area will be selected, to create their own short film. For younger participants, we ask families to apply together. The strongest films will be distributed through Reel Youth & Connaught Youth Centre's online media channels and Telus Video-on-Demand streaming service.
