In July 2011, Reel Youth hosted a residential film camp at the beautiful Channel Rock on Cortes Island. With an an amazing team of adults, the youth participants developed their film making skills and created these six short films, which address some of the most pressing social and environemtnal issues facing them today: access to water, discrimination, Nature Deficit Disorder, music for everyone, food security, and media pressure.
