In this online video production program, students from the Sarah McLachlan School of Music (SoM) will use songs they have already created and work with Reel Youth facilitators to plan, shoot, edit, and distribute their own music video. No film making experience is necessary!

Reel Youth musician-filmmaker-facilitators will help build community and technical filmmaking skills to create videos that will be featured in an online film festival and distributed through Reel Youth and SOM's social media, and the Telus Video on Demand network.

In our work we strive to embody what we hope to see in the world—a just humanity and community in which people are free to be themselves fully and without fear. A community where no one is exiled or silenced because of gender, gender expression, race, color, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual/affectional orientation, age, class, physical character or disability. We believe in the power of storytelling to make connections across difference.
